Concerto for Trombone and Wind Ensemble by Salvador Brotons/arr. Virginia Allen. Premiered by Mark Lawrence (Principal Trombone, San Francisco Symphony) and The U.S. Army Band at the Eastern Trombone Workshop on March 22, 2003. The original version of the concerto with orchestra was written in 1995 for Ricardo Casero, Principal Trombonist of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra. Concerto Grosso for Three Trombones and Tuba by Arcady Dubensky/transcribed by Virginia Allen. Composed in 1949 by Arcady Dubensky for the low brass section of the New York Philharmonic, the original version was premiered in Carnegie Hall on November 3, 1949 with Leopold Stokowski conducting. The transcription for band was premiered by The U.S. Army Band at the 1999 Eastern Trombone Workshop. Contact Virginia to acquire the music, which requires prior approval from the publisher.

Cutting Loose by Stefania De Kenessey/transcribed by Virginia Allen. Trumpet concerto written for Chris Gekker. This wind version was premiered with Mr. Gekker and the University of Maryland Wind Ensemble in November 2007. Contact Virginia to purchase the music.

Old Settlers' Picnic by Eric Ewazen/arr. Virginia Allen. This four-movement piece was composed for string orchestra, and the band arrangement was commissionsed for the 2015 Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival in Korea. The piece is based on a true event that happened at the turn of the 20th century in Wisconsin when the old settlers around Oregon, WI (now a suburb of Madison) got together for a day-long event involving a parade, a picnic, a dance, and evening tales of bears and tornados from the settlers. Published by Presser.
